Terms of Service

Pricing:

• There's no fixed rate, it depends on each individual case. The commission sheet serves as an approximation.
• Commercial projects require an additional charge of 100% of the commission price at minimum. This doesn't apply to social media assets as long as they're not used in merchandise.
• You may request a faster turnaround time for an additional charge. Major revisions or deadline shifts could result in a fee depending on complexity of required changes.

Commissioning process:

• I will be communicating with you via Discord (@surrealember), or if that's not possible, e-mail (surrealember @proton.me)
• Please provide image references and/or detailed text descriptions.
• Lack of response within 1 month will result in removal from queue.
• Turnaround depends on scope of the commission, the minimum is 2 weeks to a month after the payment has been processed and received.
• You can ask for updates to check if the commission is going as expected. Minor revisions within a reasonable amount are free of charge.
• The finished commission will be sent to you in an appropriate file format (PNG, GIF, ASE, etc.) using an agreed upon method (e. g. a ZIP file through Discord).

Payment:

• Full payment upfront via EasyStart (PayPal or a bank card). My freelancer account is linked here, and payment instructions are available here
• Refunds are not available after the first sketch is sent.
• Tipping isn't required, but it's quite appreciated :)

I reserve the right to:

• use your commission as an example of my work and share it online, unless you request otherwise, which is free of charge (please disclose any NDA terms beforehand).
• refuse your commission for any reason before payment
• blacklist you in case of severe unsuitable behavior

I prefer to draw:

• Humans / Humanoid characters
• Anthropomorphic characters / Furries
• Animals / Pets
• Game / Mod assets (tilesets, GUI elements, etc.)
• Miscellaneous objects (foodstuff, utensils, etc.)

I won't draw:

• Anything NFT / AI / Crypto related. Do not send me AI-generated or AI-assisted references!
• Very complex designs, especially mecha / armor (I can do a simplified version if applicable)
• Tilesets using an especially complex format (Terraria armor assets, Wang tiles with more than 2 colors, etc.)
• Sexual / Fetish content or heavy gore (personal preference + to avoid payment processor issues)
• Any content promoting bigotry or associated with it
